About the Design

In 1953, legendary low budget movie production company Atomic Rocket Productions released it’s first profitable film ‘Girl-Goyles’. It’s notoriety was earned by the controversial portrayal of extremely strong and confident females (each actually a Gargoyle in disguise) who bested all of the male characters physically, mentally, or emotionally. By the mid 1970s Girl-Goyles became a cult classic due in no small part by it’s camp adoption by various lesbian communities around the country.
