About the Design
“Bite of the Reptile Woman” was released in 1957 as the first movie to use “Atomic Scope”, a proprietary filming process created to incorporate color imagery into an otherwise black and white movie. For example, in Reptile Woman, we follow the heroine’s scaly green hand as it reaches through an open window, while all other parts of the shot remain black and white.
